Adult Choir

The Harvard-Epworth Adult Choir warmly welcomes anyone who likes to sing.  We rehearse on Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. from early September through mid-June, and sing during the 11:00 a.m. service. (There is no midweek rehearsal.)
We sing a diverse repertoire of music from across the centuries, from Gregorian chant to Gospel, including Sacred Harp tunes, classical anthems, and recently-composed gems.

Interested in finding out more?  Drop in for a rehearsal on a Sunday morning, or email Music Director Terry Halco at [email protected].

“Those who sing, pray twice.”

Handbell Choir

The handbell choir rehearses approximately twice a month after coffee hour following the 11:00 A.M. service. It is open to all ages and ability levels: if you have finished second grade and have at least one hand, you are qualified to ring handbells! The bell choir rings in worship a few times a year. It’s a great way to have fun, glorify God, and learn a new musical skill.

The handbell choir is directed by Ashley Hedberg. Ashley has been ringing handbells since 2001 and is currently a member of the Back Bay Ringers in Boston, MA. She has also been worshipping at HEUMC since 2012. For more information about the bell choir, please contact Ashley at [email protected].
